Howdy! I'm Kaitlyn Doerner, creator and founder of Anchored Wellness, Nutrition & Lactation Services. I'm a proud wife to my husband, Ryan and mom to our son, Hank and daughter, Finley. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences in 2013. Whoop! We currently live on about 5 acres in a small town called Whitewright and spend most of our free time watching Hank play sports and Finley do ballet and tap. We are also very involved in our church family and lead the Young Adults ministry on Wednesday nights.

 

My passion for helping pregnant and nursing moms started in 2013 when I was a Nutritionist at the WIC (Women, Infant's and Children's) Program. This quickly grew into a desire to support and empower moms more fully during their breastfeeding journey. That's what led me to become certified as an IBCLC in 2015.

 

As your Lactation Consultant, I will provide compassionate, expert care to fit your needs and help you in overcoming the particular challenges you face. I believe you know your body and your baby best and I want to help you feel more confident in this role. I will be here to support and guide you along your journey and help you reach your goals. I am honored to get to be part of this special time in your life!
